This antique umbrella features a prominent-grained walnut crook handle, furnished with a gold-plated sliding collar and crown. The crown features a presentation reading:
'Mr John H Ayre
Skipton Road, Colne
Presented By
The Albert Road Wesley Chior
18 June 1927'

The collar and crown both also feature a makers mark:
For the famous Birmingham-based walking stick and umbrella manufacturer:
'Jonathan Howell'

The umbrella has a cane shaft and metal inner frame made by the renowned umbrella makers:
'Paragon Fox'
The frame holds a black nylon canopy

Finished with a metal ferrule end
