This is a drum major mace featuring a dome-shaped gold painted top, under which is the military emblem for:
'The Wostershire Regiment'
'The Worcestershire Regiment was a line infantry regiment in the British Army, formed in 1881 under the Childers Reforms by the amalgamation of the 29th Regiment of Foot and the 36th Regiment of Foot.'

The cane shaft features a twisted green and red rope and is finished with an original cartridge ferrule

'A drum major is an individual leading a band. Drum majors utilize a ceremonial mace for giving commands while marching.'
