For the silver & gold smith:
'Charles Cooke'

'Charles Cooke was a well-known silversmith based in Frith Street, Soho, London. He supplied mounts to Thomas Brigg & Sons.'


The collar is engraved with a name, address & date:
'DIANA
10 Oxford Sq: W
1903'


There is a partridgewood shaft below the collar, and a metal frame that holds an original black nylon canopy. There is a maker's stamp to the metal fixings:
'Brigg & Sons London'

The shaft ends in an original metal ferrule.
