This antique walking stick features an unusual style - above the collar is narrower than below, making the stick easier to hold. 

The stick is furnished with a tested silver top & collar, both with repousse detailing. 

Malacca shaft with an original metal ferrule. 

This style of stick was a signature of the 16th century and can be seen on page 103 of Canes Through The Ages by Francis H. Monek (see photo 10). 

An attractive item, perfect for a collector or use.
