This walking stick features a unique handle made from Britannia metal and cast to resemble a Victorian-style boot, complete with a rolled-down sock around the ankle.
The boot has been made to look fatigued, with the buttons undone and bent top flaps, a part of the sole worn away, and wear to the toe showing where the sole has separated from the boot.
The sole of the boot is also embossed with the original owner's name and city:
'Urban Schwetner
Canton OH'
'Urban Charles Schwertner was born on November 28, 1872, in Canton, Stark County, Ohio. His father was a shoemaker. He married Lottie Schwertner in 1902 and died on December 25, 1935, in Ohio.
Canton is a city in northeast Ohio. It's known for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which honors National Football League players through permanent and traveling exhibitions.'
