This is an antique gumbrella with a bovine horn golf putter handle, furnished with a black tassel and gold-plated collar embossed with the maker:

Brigg London was one of the UK’s top walking stick and umbrella manufacturers until February 1943, when Swaine & Adeney on Piccadilly and Thomas Brigg & Sons, around the corner at 23 St James's Street, decided to join forces. From 1943 until 1990, the company traded as Swaine, Adeney, Brigg & Sons Ltd. 

There is a partridge wood shaft & metal frame, which supports a black nylon canopy. 

The slider is embossed:

The shaft ends with an original metal ferrule. 

Attractive item, perfect for a Brigg collector.
