This umbrella features a partridge wood crook handle with the addition of a concealed pencil inside a silver holder, furnished with a silver collar hallmarked for: 
London 1929 
Along with a makers mark: 
Brigg London 
'Brigg London was the UK's top umbrella manufacturer until February 1943, when Swaine & Adeney on Piccadilly and Thomas Brigg & Sons, round the corner at 23 St James's Street decided to join forces. From 1943 until 1990 the company traded as Swaine, Adeney, Brigg & Sons Ltd'

The collar also features the initials C.C for Briggs silversmith: 
Charles Cook 

The umbrella has a wooden cane shaft and a metal inner frame that holds a black canopy. The metal fixing is also embossed with the Brigg name. 

Finished with a metal ferrule. 

Perfect for a Brigg or racing collector, or for use.
