This antique umbrella has a malacca handle with a bovine horn top & is furnished with a gold collar hallmarked:

Indicating the collar is 9 carat rolled gold.
There is a maker's mark:
'NP'
 The lower end of the malacca shaft is furnished with a gold metal collar.

Metal shaft & frame that holds a black nylon canopy. 

The shaft ends in an original metal ferrule.
