'The West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales's Own) (14th Foot) was an infantry regiment of the British Army. In 1958 it amalgamated with the East Yorkshire Regiment (15th Foot) to form the Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire.
The West Yorkshire Regiment (The Prince of Wales's Own) was granted a unique tiger badge as an honorary distinction for its distinguished service in India.


With an additional crest embossed on the collar below the top:

'The Sikh 12 FF Regiment refers to the 12th Frontier Force Regiment (12 FFR) of the British Indian Army, formed in 1922 by combining several Sikh and Punjab Irregular Force units.'


Cladded brown leather shaft with a large brown leather end.
