This antique walking stick has a bovine horn Fritz handle, furnished with a hallmarked gold collar & tested gold ends. 

The collar also features the maker: 
‘Asprey London’ 
'Founded in 1781 by William Asprey, was originally based in Mitcham, Surrey until the company moved into central London premises. From there, Asprey advertised ‘articles of exclusive design and high quality', whether for personal adornment or personal accompaniment and to endow with richness and beauty the table and homes of people of refinement and discernment.' 

One of the gold ends is embossed: 
'Convamore' 

And the other end is a secret hidden compartment, possibly used for storing snuff. The outside of the lid is embossed with the initials: 
'T.H.A.U.R?' 
Along with an engraving to the inside: 
'Buckingham Palace' 

Sturdy bamboo shaft that ends in an original metal ferrule. 

A one-of-a-kind item, suitable for use or a collector.

Good condition with rubbed gold marks to the collar, old split to the horn & gold end.
