This shooting stick features a brown cladded leather seat, which folds away into a crook handle and becomes a walking stick for sporting/hunting. 

Embossed onto the aluminium fixings under the crook and on the metal plate is the maker and patent:

Henry Howell & Co walking sticks was founded in 1832 and was originally based at 76 Aldersgate, London. In its time, the cane manufacturer known as Henry Howell & Company, London, England was the largest and one of the world’s most prestigious makers of fine walking sticks.

With an original metal ferrule that the metal plate slides onto to prevent the stick from sinking into soft ground.
