This antique walking stick has a bovine horn crook handle, furnished with a silver collar hallmarked for:  Birmingham 1926  Along with a makers mark J.H for:  Jonathan Howell  Walking stick manufacturer for:  Henry Howell & Co  Henry Howell & Co walking sticks was founded in 1832 and was originally based at 76 Aldersgate, London. In its time, the cane manufacturer known as Henry Howell & Company, London, England was the largest and one of the world’s most prestigious makers of fine walking sticks.  The collar also features a presentation for the original owners:  To A.R Paton Esq  From Friends On  Corn Exchange London  30th Sept 1933  Corn Exchange on Mark Lane was the central historical hub for the city's grain, seed, and corn trade from 1747 until 1987.
