This walking stick is made from a single piece of bamboo with a root ball forming the top.

The shaft has been skillfully hand-carved with countryside scenes, including a farmer wearing traditional Chinese clothing.

The lower shaft is engraved with 4 Chinese symbols.
 
The stick is furnished with a brass ferrule, which, when removed, reveals an extendable fishing rod in 3 sections with a cord loop end.
 
A rare item, ideal for a collector.
