This hunting whip features a traditional antler handle furnished with a nickel silver collar embossed with:

Merle & Co' 
'Merle & Co was a trademark used by G & J Zair from 1898 until 1965. G. & J. Zair were independent whip & walking stick makers founded in the 1830s in Birmingham until they were bought by Swaine & Adeney in 1927.' ​

The collar is also embossed with a presentation reading:

Plaited linen shaft with an original leather end and plaited chrome leather lash with a cord end.
