This antique ladies dress cane features a 
carved wooden dogs head top
 
The dog's mouth opens to hold a pair of gloves

The cane has a silver collar hallmarked for
"Birmingham 1872"

The solid cane shaft features hand-carved designs to the top end and is finished with a metal ferrule, ready for use

The cane measures 85cm tall with a 3cm diameter dogs head top and a 1.5cm diameter shaft
 
The cane is in good used condition with some dings to the collar
