This antique umbrella has a hexagonal treen handle - the top has been stained black, with a decorative inlaid section made of a cream material with black circles.
Below the top, there is a silver metal plaque engraved with a presentation:

'Lea Green Station is located in St Helens, Merseyside, on the Liverpool to Manchester Line. It was one of the original passenger stations of George Stephenson's 1830 Liverpool and Manchester Railway, the world's first railway to cater for passengers as one of its primary functions. It was also arguably the world’s first intercity railway.'
Below the handle, there is a black cane shaft & a metal frame that holds a black nylon canopy. The canopy has a decorative ribbon trim around the edge, with a gold & multicoloured paisley pattern.
