This antique walking stick features a bovine horn crook handle furnished with a gold plated collar, hallmarked: 
'DOUBLE'
Indicating the collar is made with double gold plating, which is about 20% thicker than regular gold.

The collar is engraved with the initials of the original owner:
'EFB' 

Malacca shaft with an original horn ferrule.
