This is for a small treen paddle made from one piece of wood, which has a brass grip end engraved with a military motto in German:
'Zur Erinnerung An Meine Dienstzeit'
Which translates as:
'In Memory of my Military Service'

At the base of the handle is a slim brass collar with a treen shaft ending in a small paddle blade. The shaft is decorated with black, red & beige cord with 2 tassels.

A historical & decorative item, ideal for a military collector.
