This walking stick features a Fritz handle and is furnished with a silver crown at each end of the handle.

There is a silver collar hallmarked for:
'London 1931'
With a maker's mark:
'HP&S' 
For the silversmith:
'Henry Perkins & Sons'
'Henry Perkins started out making mounts for pipes from c.1880 and took his sons as partners, the style of the firm changing to Henry Perkins & Sons from c.1900.
In 1923 they took 2 stands at the British Industries Fair in which to show their skills and produce.'


The collar is engraved with a presentation:
'Presented to
W. Griffiths
Cashier to GKB
Port Talbot
1931'

'GKB were Guest, Keen & Baldwin, a heavy iron & steel manufacturer in the Cardiff & Port Talbot area at the turn of the 20th century.'


Ebonized shaft with an original brass ferrule.
