This marine swagger stick is made from shark vertebrae, furnished with a bovine horn op, washers and ferrule. 

'Sharks have no bones, and instead, their skeleton is made from cartilage to make them lighter. Their vertebrae, in particular, are made from calcified cartilage, which is a more sturdy form of cartilage.'
