This makhila walking stick has a bovine horn pommel top with a plaited leather handle, which unscrews. The handle has a brass loop with a brown plaited leather wrist strap.
The horn top is finished with an inset enamel coat of arms, with the moto:

Below the top, the stick is furnished with a patterned brass collar.
The stick has a medlar shaft, a traditional Basque wood, and an original large patterned brass ferrule.
