This antique walking stick has a crook handle & is made from a single piece of treen.

The stick is furnished with a silver crown & collar. The collar has wavy edges & is hallmarked for:
'London 1917'
With a maker's mark:
'BM'
For the London silver importer:
'B Muller & Son (Berthold Muller)'
'B. Muller & Son was a London-based import firm founded around 1890 that imported and distributed silver, particularly from the workshop of Ludwig Neresheimer & Co. in Hanau, Germany.
In 1915, the firm's head, Berthold Muller, anglicized his name to Miller, and the company was renamed B. Miller & Son to continue as a wholesale silversmiths and jewellers specializing in antique reproductions.'


The collar is vacant & suitable for engraving.

Ebonized shaft with a rubber ferrule.

Good condition with use marks consistent with age. 1 stable split to top of crook, with some varnish loss to shaft. Rubbing to hallmarks on silver crown & dings to silver.
