This walking stick has a porcelain ball handle, hand-painted in the French style. The top of the ball features a lady & gentleman dressed in 18th-century style clothing seated by a tree, with the lady playing a lute. The lower part is painted dark navy, with decorative scrolling painted in gold.
Below the handle, the stick is furnished with a decorative repousse gold-plated collar that features a vacant cartouche suitable for engraving.
There is a dark navy porcelain grip with the same lady & gentleman as the handle, with the gentleman playing a lute. The grip is decorated with gold-painted scrolling.
Below the grip is a further repousse gold-plated collar.
Cane shaft ending in an original metal ferrule.
