'Henry Perkins started by making mounts for pipes from c.1880 and takes his sons as partners, the style of the firm changing to Henry Perkins & Sons from 1901, the partners being Henry,Arthur & Henry Charles Perkins.
In 1923 they took 2 stands at the British Industries Fair in which to show their skills and produce.The firm was converted into a limited liability company in 1922 under the style Henry Perkins & Sons Ltd.'
