This one-of-a-kind customs officer's stick has been fully clad in brown leather with a crook handle. 
 
The stick pulls out at the handle to reveal a steel spike. 

Dating back to the early 1800s, this stick would have been used as a probing device to test items such as hay bales for suspicious contents. 

A unique item, perfect for a collector.
