This rustic walking stick is carved from a single piece of wood & has a coin inset into the top.
The coin is a shilling dated 1818, with the head of King George III.
The top of the stick has intact bark which has been removed to form a scalloped pattern around the end.
Treen wood shaft with a metal ferrule.
An unusual item, perfect for a collector or for use.

Diameter of the top - 4.1cm
Diameter of the shaft below the bark - 3.1cm tapering to 1.3cm
Weight - 246g
Very good condition with use marks consistent with age & rubbing to coin.
