This antique shooting / seat stick features a malacca crook handle and a fold-out brown leather seat, which is released by pulling up the aluminium fixings.
The fixings also hold the soil plate, and are embossed with the name of the original owner:
'N.B.Ramsay'
This shooting stick can be attributed to BRIGG, who had the patent for this style during the early 20th century.
The stick has a spike ferrule, which holds the soil plate to prevent the seat from sinking into soft ground.
A rare item, perfect for use or a collector.
