This walking stick is made from 2 tone ebony with a hand-carved bovine horn ball handle. The end of the handle is furnished with a millitary badge with the crest of the:

It absorbed the remaining troops of the Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS), a wartime female force established to free up men for active service.
