With a maker's mark:

At the bottom of the handle is a more recently added silver collar with a black cord tassel. It is hallmarked for:
'Birmingham 1928'
There is a maker's mark:
'J.H.'
For the renowned silversmith:
'Jonathon Howell'
Walking stick maker for:
'Henry Howell & Co'
'Henry Howell & Co walking sticks was founded in 1832 and was originally based at 76 Aldersgate, London. In its time, the cane manufacturer known as Henry Howell & Company, London, England was the largest and one of the world’s most prestigious makers of fine walking sticks.'

There is a metal shaft and frame that holds an original black nylon canopy with a frilled edge.

The shaft ends in an original metal ferrule.

A stylish umbrella, suitable for use or a collector.
