This Victorian military parade stick features a striped silver ball top with hallmarks for: 
'London 1882' 
Along with a maker's mark: 
'F.B' 
Believed to be for the London-based silversmith: 
'Frederick Brasted' 

The stick also features a slightly later-added silver collar, hallmarked for: 
'London 1884'
With a makers mark: 
'W.D' 

Both the top and collar feature a silver ring, the 2 of which are connected by a chain. 

Strong ebonised hardwood shaft with an original brass ferrule. 

An unusual stick, perfect for a collector or for use. 

Measurements: 
Length - 91cm 
Diameter of the top - 3.2cm 
Shaft diameter under the collar - 1.6cm 
Weight - 215g 

 

Very good condition with some minor age marks.
