This antique walking stick features a bovine horn Fritz handle and is furnished with an ornate repousse silver collar hallmarked for:  'Birmingham 1896'  With a maker's mark:  'J.H'  For the renowned walking stick manufacturer:

'Henry Howell & Co walking sticks was founded in 1832 and was originally based at 76 Aldersgate, London. In its time, the cane manufacturer known as Henry Howell & Company, London, England was the largest and one of the world’s most prestigious makers of fine walking sticks.'

The collar has a vacant cartouche suitable for engraving. Malacca shaft with an original bovine horn ferrule, with a rubber ferrule at the end.  A stylish item, perfect for a collector or use.  Measurements:  Length - 91.0cm  Handle diameter - 11.6cm  Shaft diameter below the collar - 2.5cm  Weight - 320g
