This walking stick has been skilfully hand-carved to resemble a cobra snake. 

The treen shaft has been hand-carved into the curving shape of the snake's body, complete with scales. 

These are 4 badges that have been added to the shaft:

Rattenfänger Von Hameln (The Pied Piper of Hamelin - one of the most famous German legends.)  
Lienz Osttirol (a medieval town in the Austrian state of Tyrol) 
and another badge' 

Under the snakes head is the name & address of the original owner. 

The shaft ends in a metal ferrule.
